Privacy policy
What personal data we collect through this website, enquiries and our newsletter, why, and what you can do about it.
Last updated 29 September 2026
This policy explains what personal data Synthesised AI Pte. Ltd. (“Synthesised.ai”, “we”, “us”) collects through this website, through enquiries and bookings, and through our newsletter. We follow Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA), Australia’s Privacy Act 1988 and its Australian Privacy Principles, and New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020, as each applies.
Who we are and how to reach us
Synthesised AI Pte. Ltd. (UEN 201634844R) is a company registered in Singapore and operates the Synthesised.ai brand and the website at synthesised.ai.
For any question or request about your personal data, contact our Data Protection Officer at privacy@synthesised.ai.
What this policy covers
It covers visits to synthesised.ai, enquiries and bookings you make with us, and our newsletter. Data we handle for clients during an engagement is governed by the written agreement for that engagement, not by this policy.
What we collect
When you visit the site
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand how the site is used and to improve it. They record the pages you view, how you arrived, your approximate location (country and city, from your IP address), your browser and device, and how you interact with pages. Microsoft Clarity also records how you move, scroll and click on a page so we can replay sessions and see heatmaps; it masks the text you type. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set cookies that recognise your browser on later visits: Google’s last up to two years and Microsoft’s up to one year. Ahrefs Web Analytics does not use cookies.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, records standard request information when your browser loads a page: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time. We use this only to keep the site running and secure.
- Font requests. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser sends Google its IP address and browser details when it fetches them.
- Your settings. Your choice between the dark and warm themes, and your analytics choice, are saved in your browser’s local storage. They stay on your device.
Your analytics choice
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics stays off until you accept it. Everywhere else, analytics runs from the moment you arrive. Either way, the privacy banner shown on your first visit stays until you choose, and you can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings at the foot of every page. If you turn analytics off, our analytics tools stop recording your visits from that point.
We do not use advertising or marketing trackers on this site.
When you contact us or book a call
When you email us, use the enquiry form or book a call, we collect what you give us: your name, work email, company, and the details you share about your organisation and project, such as industry, company size, timeline, budget range and the problem you want to solve. If you book a call, we also record the time you choose.
When you subscribe to our newsletter
If you subscribe, we collect your email address and any name you give us, and our newsletter tool records whether you open our emails and which links you click. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Why we use it
We use enquiry and booking details to reply to you, to scope and quote for work you ask about, and to keep a record of our conversations. We use newsletter details to send the newsletter you asked for. We use analytics and server logs to understand how the site is used, improve it, and keep it secure.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
We do not use the information you send us to train AI models.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with the service providers who run the site, our analytics, our enquiry process and our newsletter on our behalf, and only as much as they need:
| Provider | What it does | Where it may process data |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel Inc. | Hosts the website | United States and other regions |
| Google LLC | Google Analytics and Google Fonts | United States and other regions |
| Ahrefs Pte. Ltd. | Ahrefs Web Analytics (cookieless) | Wherever Ahrefs stores its data, which may be outside Singapore, Australia and New Zealand |
| Microsoft Corporation | Microsoft Clarity analytics, and Microsoft 365 for our email | United States and other regions (Clarity); the data location of our Microsoft 365 account (email) |
| Bento | Sends our newsletter and marketing emails | Wherever Bento stores its data, which may be outside Singapore, Australia and New Zealand |
| Resend, Inc. | Delivers enquiry form submissions to our inbox | Japan (Tokyo sending region); company based in the United States |

| Relay (our own system) | Stores enquiry and client records | Singapore |
We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it.
Overseas transfers
Some of these providers store or process data outside Singapore, Australia and New Zealand, including in the United States. When we transfer personal data overseas, we take reasonable steps to make sure it receives protection comparable to the laws listed above, including through the providers’ contractual commitments.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become work: deleted as soon as it is clear the work will not go ahead.
- Enquiries that become an engagement: the period set in the engagement agreement.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics: Google Analytics keeps event data for up to 14 months; Microsoft Clarity keeps session recordings for 30 days.
- Hosting logs: the period Vercel’s service sets.
How we protect it
We restrict access to personal data to the people who need it, use providers with established security programmes, and use access controls and encryption in transit on the site and our tools. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we will notify you and the relevant regulator of a data breach where the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we have used it;
- correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- stop using your data, by withdrawing your consent (this may mean we cannot continue a conversation or engagement).
Send requests to privacy@synthesised.ai. We will reply within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the regulator where you live: the Personal Data Protection Commission in Singapore, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in Australia, or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner in New Zealand.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on this page, and the privacy banner will ask for your choice again.
